One while we were waiting for dinner at local hotel on Boxing day. Probably one of my best so far, shows how much further I need to go.

This was taken with my 350D & kit lens ISO 400 F5 1/60th & on camera flash.

Since then been reading up on fill in flash for outside a bit more & also have a Interfit EX150 kit on the way for xmas :)

Apreciate any C&C please

Aslo will need to sus the posting out on this forum as having to knock the quality down to post the picture.

I think it's a nice portrait and with the kit lens, that's really wonderful. with the table setting so close to the subjects, it could look like they (the flowers) are coming out of their heads, but it looks fine. If you have a faster lens, and shot f2.8 or shallower, it would have been even better. But it's a very nice portrait.

And Welcome!

I expect Suzy means the flowers are looking a little like they are growing from their heads... lol
Nice shot, but again I have a little issue with colour balance. I find it almost perfect, but still a little on the pink side. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the forum!
