I like it. But I think it might be even more "wow" is there was more waterfall. He's small and it's huge, so it's sort of that contrast that makes it "wow" unless I'm missing the point. Anyway, if the kid was smaller in comparison to the large waterfall it might be interesting.

I like it. You can almost feel his awe.

Technically, the photo needs a few things. The picture is over-exposed. Darker shadows help some, but there's too much light on the water. More DOF would be good here as well, IMO.
