Late September and sunny and warm in Canada. We consider ourselves very fortunate. We stopped at a roadside hostel and the caretaker was closing down for the winter. Noticed the camera gear and invited us down to see "something you might like to see." He was right.

Forgive me if you see this in a duplicate post...still trying to figure out how to do the larger size photos with the links.

On my monitor it looks a bit to dark in the right front. Nice capture otherwise.

Nice shot Patrick. I like the great DOF you've got working here. Spectacular. Man I wished I found this site sooner. The stuff on here is awesome.

I love this shot because it has foreground interest, and then the water leads you to the rest of the photo. The foreground could be a little more lit, but if I were viewing this in a larger version it may not be an issue. Nice reflection on the water and the sky is beautiful...so I say very well done!

Thanks all for the comments. Concur tac that right front too dark, particularly the stump. Still learning post production and my first pass was a mess so nixed some of the needed tweeks. Need to revisit. I appreciate the look and critiques.
