Good stuff guys love Ryans Marie Antionette shot( I thought it was yours at fisrt Pahm). The last shot of the little girl reminds me of a shot in Mark Hauser's book Halloween In Bucktown.

I really like your shots too Pham #5 & #6 are both very cool.

allen,

no problems..

Ryan and i will try not to duplicate shots.. if we came up with a really cool pose or set up we both took the shot.. so there are many more shots to be added.. that is if you and others want to see..

this project was a large scale project, took two salons and full staff from both salons to coordinate.. so i am glad to be just a part of this... also i can't thank Ryan enough for his help..

here is my shot of marie Antoinette

I caught Tara in between shots while she was laughing at something that was said, and it turned out perfect.

A few that i've got done.
BTW if anyone ever gets a chance to pick CT's mind in person, don't hesitate to sit down and just chill with him. You'll never regret it and come away with great inspiration and advice. We've shot together before and been around each other more than a few times now, but I learned some things tonight that is invaluable from him.

More photos with time; enjoy!

The only neg I have for the Marie Antoinette in white glad bags shot is there needs to be just a bit more room by the toe. Just enough s to not cut into it. I like both this one a Phams shot of Marie also. I think they're my two favs.

That was all she would fit into the frame. With those boots on she was 6'6" and with a 3 foot hair do, and a 7 foot long dress. Framing in a 8x10 room gets a bit hard with that, even when i'm 200mm away.

A good reason to display FF only. Just do borders if they want 8X10s.

in defense of Ryan.. we had only 9 peet wide hallway in the holiday inn space they gave us. Ryan did really well with the 70 -200 i thought..

the hieght of the backdrop only went to the ceiling and it was topped out @ probably 9 feet too..

i should have shot her instead of the 85, the 35, but i kept the 85 and really found a spot to get her in the frame..

anyways.. i learned alot from this shoot..

what i need is a make up kit..
a better fan..
some clothing clips..
fashion props..
a visually beautiful stool.. (because standing shots are limited, sitting shots are easier to pose.)
better planning on my end with models and flow..

just a few from off the top of my head...

@Ryan.. great texture on the old man top hat shot !

Wow Pham! All great shots! New to this hobby and saw that you mentioned on removing wrinkle from seamless paper. What technique did you use in photoshop? I just bought a gray seamless paper and shooting at F8 shows all of the wrinkle! Very inspiring photos!!

i have started with a soft brush, then use smudge tool at what ever power level you think and work it over.. inwards and out wards.. soon the wrinkles dissappers..
