Recently upgraded from the S5IS to the T1I. I love learning how to take pictures and I think this site is awesome. My first post. Eddie has been with us for about 10 years. He's just a big lazy cat, and he was a good model for me today. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thank you, Flo. As I cut off the ears in the second picture, I think you are suggesting that was a no-no. I'd like to read more from you, regarding cropping pet photo's, if you have the time. I will research this topic as well.

Eddie's a cutie.
Cropping is a subjective thing, but I'd agree with Flo on this one, I like ears (2) on my cats. ;)

Welcome to POTN. Personally, I like ears on my cats too, but sometimes the eyes say it all. Try boosting your saturation just a little Eddie's colors will really pop.
