Actually, that wasn't the last race of the year. This past weekend were the last races of the season in the MAC (Mid-Atlantic Cyclocross). There was a race in Dirty JerZ on Saturday and the final race was this past Sunday in Virginia.

There are "unofficial" races going on around here through Christmas. Fifth Street Cross in Emmaus, PA still has two more weeks left and there is a bad-ass "fun" event going on in Philly next week where they hold a cross race through a junkyard. So, I'm not done yet

You shot a couple of road races I did last year. The shots were great! I performed horribly though haha . Nice photos here too, they capture the excitement of cross racing very well.

3rd shot is really great, awesome separation and well lit. Not at all a fan of the selective colouring in the podium shot though, sorry.

Thanks man All the other photogs out there were getting all artsy, so I figured I throw a few artsy-farty shots into the mix. I'm not a big fan of any sort of post-processing special effect myself. A few thrown in here and there keeps the artsy types happy I guess.

What's with the tandem doing cross? I have never seen that. Was it just a practice lap or what? Might have to try that with my daughter.

No, it was an actual race. The USAC officials there thought that was the only tandem cross race held, possibly ever, in the country.

C'mon. Ever? 'Cross wasn't invented last year you know.

Not last year but tandem cross? I'm going to have to get my daughter to try that. Looks like it could be really hard but fun. Thanks for the idea.
