I am not really sure what a fisheye or a wide angle lens will realistically produce.
Anyone care to share some good examples of each and the lens that was used?

A fisheye or wide angle will generally produce huge disappointment in people who spent £500 on them thinking they were necessary for landscape photography (who then find that their landscape occupies about 5% of the image, the rest being taken up by the sky, and the place where they parked the car thinking it'd be out of frame). They have their uses, but you need to know what they're for before you commit ...
