Hi everyone

What a lovely day it was in the UK. Covered an Enduro event today, its rained here heavily overnight & this morning, right up until the race started. Conditions were a bit rough, only shot a couple of enduros, normally mx. Am struggling at times, so much different then mx.

Good to meet another forum member there today, good to see you if your reading this, took 3 people to get my van out..

Here's few from today, still not the best, but not to shabby.

Hi Colin, was nice to meet you there - many thanks for the helpful tips and the use of your batteries!
My Car needed a good pish to get out - but its totally covered in mud, I couldnt see out any of the windows and myy car is now completely brown. I think i will have to seek out a Jet washer ASAP!

I have had a quick look through my images, but they look rather mediocre compared to yours. I wish i had not forgotten my triggers - your off camera flash work is a real treat!

Here are a quick few:

Are there any more events lined up in the south east as far as you know? I would definitely like to have the chance to try this again, perhaps with a few slower shutter speeds to get more motion into the images or with some more creative lighting.

Hi Rob, great to meet you, thats about the worst these events get. Have a look on MXTRAX, you will find MX & Enduro events advertised, maybe try a local practise track.

You can always come up to washbrook, I'm normally there every Saturday. Well when its not raining.

I have shot in some pretty bad conditions, from freezing cold, belting rain thru to 40+ degree heat, but those looking like the worst conditions I've seen.

Nice work though.

Hi. I did an Enduro summer 2008, I think, at West Harting Down.

Unfortunately, I've now taken down the galleries for space, but the start image gives an impression of the day. That was a pleasure. That just looks like a nightmare! How on earth do you identify the riders :P No. 811 was obviously not doing it properly!! If you go to do any in the spring/summer, I'd like to tag along if that would be OK.

My gallery I didn't sort, unfortunately some events are impossible to sort.. Normally cover mx, but this club has asked me to attend this year. The weather isn't that bad, most of the year you seem to be shin deep in it...
then you want your shots from a kneeling position or even lying down..

I work hard for me money...lol. If you fancy coming along let us know, with avg 10 miles course there's always plenty of track.

I would definitely like to catch up with a few more of these events. I will see if i can meet up with you at washbrook some time in the new year. Would be good to see a bit more of your technique - i felt a bit like an amateur with all the gear and no idea on Sunday.
Its a bit far away to visit regularly though!

It is a bit fair for you, but it might be worth a trip once, theres a good few mx tracks near you, but it can be tricky to get track side, (resident photog, insurance issues, etc). You've got some good results, stick a few more up..

Cheers guys, there is nothing like a frosty cold morning, with a track shin deep. Wouldn't miss a weekend of it, since giving up mx, this is the one thing that keeps me sane.

Thanks again
