The NCAA championships were held this weekend in College Station. The weather was much colder than normal this weekend. This was also the first time I've shot with a prime ( 300 2.8 ), so I missed a few more shots than I'd have liked. Most of the shots are from the first semifinal match between Stanford and UCLA.

1. UCLA's Liz Zadro attempts to take the ball from Stanford's Alicia Jenkins.

2. Stanford's Kelley O'Hara celebrates the first goal of the night.

3. UCLA players celebrate Lauren Cheney's goal in the second half of the semifinal game.

4. Stanford's Mariah Nogueira battles UCLA's Lucretia Lee for possession.

5. Stanford players celebrate a golden goal by Christen Press 3:25 into the first overtime period.

Some great pictures, the emotion from the celebration pictures are great. These pictures make me miss my 300mm lens. This was one of the better college soccer games I have seen in a while.
