just got a new Pixma 990 and it is printing some ugly pics, spitting to much ink out, any ideas
did the nozzle cleans, that didnt help

I had some Polaroid brand paper that worked great on my older HP that did not work well on my Epson. SOme inks work better with certain papers I think you really should just stick with the paper from the brand of printer you have to be safe. Canon paper works great on my MP560 which use the same inks as your 990. I have also used HP brand paper with great success. Taylor
