Wanted to share a couple of Doug. He is a friend and said he would step in for a couple shots with my new softbox. Softbox camera right and an umbrella just behind him camera left. Looking back I could have done a little better with composition but I learn every time I take a photo. All C&C welcome.

Love #2. Great short lighting and fill to help differentiate from dark background.

Thanks John. Looking at no. 1 I think I oversharpened it. Should have left it alone after resizing...

#2 is the better of the two, but the pose is awkward and you should avoid seeing the back side of the hand (the edge is preferred). You are very close. A natural looking pose will be killer.
