I'm new to the art of photography but have always had an intense interest in it. My first love is dogs and most of my photography revolves around them, but wildlife and landscapes are also appealing to me. Up until a week ago, I've used very basic point and shoot digital cameras. I've wanted a Canon Rebel for a year or two and just bought a T1i kit. I haven't gotten to take advantage of its full potential yet, but I'm happy with the experimental shots I've gotten so far. I foresee a long, beautiful friendship between me and my new toy!

Once I acquire the necessary equipment, gain more knowledge and improve my skill, I plan to professionally photograph pets.

Here are some pictures I've taken of one of my dogs, in my blog. All these pictures were taken with a basic point and shoot digital camera. As you can see, the quality wasn't the best, which is why I wanted an upgrade.

I look forward to spending some time on this forum and hope to learn from all of the skilled people on here!
