Nice work. How did you get the sky so blue and still expose for the skin tones without harsh flash?

Images 1, 3 and 5 are very good.

No 2 I'm not keen on the texture, the image is good and seems the texture is taking attention away from the image.

No 4 I like the idea but the couple don't appear comfortable and almost awkward

Polarizing filter and "gelled" off camera flash?

I'm going to guess a small aperture, But that wouldn't explain the nice exposure on the couple... Nice shots, as always.
edit:And I guess I woud be wrong...Exif says f4.5- unless thats an appended metadata.

well i think is just a mtter of balancing the natural light with the flash, all of them were lighted with a bare off camera 580 EX II. exposed first for the sky, then use flash for fill. i hope i made my self clear.

thanks a lot for your comments! =) actually the one with the textures is one of my favorites hehe =) i think its just a matter of preferences.

nope, just a bare flash of camera and some lightroom.

mmm.. thats a hard one.. but if i had to chose one lense for all the wedding.. (church, reception, formals, etc ) it would be a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L for a full frame body or a 17-55 2.8 IS USM on a crop body.

cheers

These are all fantastic, Henry, as usual! Your exposures and colors are always spot on!
I LOVE the texture in #2... very cool! Was this a TRA texture?
#4 is timed "oh-so perfectly" with the gulls! Beautiful shot!
