If it decimates a house, imagine what it can do to soft flesh! A 2x4 travelling at 100+mph can penetrate a lot of things including flesh.

Reinforced concrete for protection will do me nicely!

And IIRC there is similar amounts of energy contained in both events! So Im staying the hell away from both!:D

I've seen shots of straw driven into a telephone pole like a bit of shrapnel!

I tuned into the Discovery channel "Storm Chasers" finale on TV the other night. These guys (that take these kinds of pictures and films) are certifiable.
