Some early winter birds from Hokkaido Japan

Here are some early winter birds from South Hokkaido...........

One of my fave local birds are the Harlequin Ducks which are common in many of the nearby harbours........

And of course there are the Stellers Sea Eagles. I haven't gotten a real keeper yet this winter, they're still a bit skittish.

The Varied Tits and Nuthatches are not skittish at all.
