I agree you will be hard pressed to get 600 for the xsi now. I sold my xsi kit for 600 bucks back in the beggining of september when the 7D was announced and that included the opteka grip. Ill probably end up buying it again next year as my second body for what could be around 300 bucks by that point :D

Just before the Canon $200 rebate offer expired Nov. 21st i picked-up the XSi with the EFS 18-55mm IS kit lens + the EFS 55-250 IS lens for a total of $639.00 from Amazon with free shipping.

Alot of folks with FF cameras went for this deal to have a nice back-up.

Too good of an offer to pass-up for a nice little DLSR package. :D

+1 on getting a grip. I just bought a grip for my XSi and it makes a world of difference. It actually fits in my hand now, unlike before.

I got the Opteka grip, which is $79 but it comes with 2 extra batteries as well so it's a really good deal if you need the extra batteries (I did).

I read poor reviews on the opteka, and went with Zeikos instead. Zeikos is $55 and does not include no-name batteries.
