I just noticed that unlike all my other lenses, the 135L doesn't have any writing when viewed from straight on from the front.

There's no room for writing... due to that great big, beautiful front lens element.

What would one say on there anyway?

Have fun with it! Everyone should try a 135/2 at some point.

It's a beauty! The bokeh is more stunning than the 85l. It's creamier and flows more smoothly.

Wow, having owned both at one time, I am not sure I would go that far. The bokeh at f1.2 is very special.

6D + enough lenses for now.

amazing lens... now that you've had a taste of L primes... you have opened a whole new can of worms... probably better if you had just not bought it!
Knowing that, you should ship it to me... i'm missing my 135L in my lineup.
