e-mailing Movie Clips

I am new to digital photography and have recently purchased a s30 camera (love the camera by the way).

Is there a way to compress the video clips as my intended recipients (grandparents) have told me that the 30 second clip is taking about 35 minutes to download?

The most simple way is to down load "VirtualDub" (freeware) at http://www.virtualdub.​org/

Get an education on its use through the VirtualDub forum at http://virtualdub.ever​wicked.com and start there with 'newbie" questions.

Not only will you be able to compress your avi clips but you can do a lot of corrections and "tweaking" of the clips.
