Perfect, but the eyes need more "glow", if you know what I mean.

Nitpick here!

She needs more lift on her eyelashes or you get that sort of droopy thing where the eyelashes come down by the eyes. Otherwise I think it's gorgeous.

good portrait, man! Skin processing is a bit too much. Now... I see the texture everywhere but this look unnatural. And the funny thing I just can't tell you why. Doesn't look like dodge and burn. But I wont make assumptions. Something is off in processing and I am really sorry that I can't tell you what exactly...

1 minute later edit -

Ok, I think I see what's going on.

The jaw is too smooth. It looks like it was liquified..is that it?

the hair part on her shoulder needs to go as well.

I like this shot... Skin looks pretty good, but maybe the forehead is too smooth? I can see texture on some of her face, but the far cheek and forehead look smooth...

For a magazine like Vogue, Vanity Fair or Elle, the skin is not over-done.

Very nice shot! Beautiful model.
I agree with the eye comment... they could use a little pop.
I might have gone overboard with it, but it was a small JPG, so I could only do so much. With eyes like hers, it's hard not to play with them!

No liquify on face and I can see texture on jaw area. Now Im wondering what you are really seeing. Have a look at my latest post in G&N area and let me know do you see same thing on that image. Same model, similar PP
I cleaned a lot of hair from her face and shoulder but you are right, the hair must go

Thank you Sir. I think there are areas I could have used layer mask to bring out more texture. I actually can see texture on forehead and that is my limit with overdone. When the texture is gone, I consider it overdone. However there are some times and places where doll kind of skin works really well.

Actually on those mags you can see even smoother skins

I agree I need to fix her eyes. I also agree that your version is just a tad overdone. I need to clean the veins and find level between the two edits. Thanks for the effort Sir

I gave it another go... this time not so aggressively.
I used a TRA in CS3 called "Select-o-pop"... one batch just on the make up at about 4o%
Then another batch on the iris at 75%

Is this any better?
