Nothing like a little home brew. The best beer is the one you make yourself!

My Russian Imperial Stout took 1st in a competition a bit earlier this year and it has moved on to the final round in the National Homebrew Competition. Need to wait until June for the final judging though.

Very cool. I knew someone who made his own beer too. A friend of mine told him to try and make the darkest, thickest, richest beer ever and believe it or not he did. It poured out of the bottle like motor oil but it was really good. It was like drinking a loaf of bread it was so heavy and filling. He called it black hole stout because light from a Mag Light flashlight couldn't pass through the glass of beer. It was awesome!
