I know these are probably ridiculous questions, so thanks in advance for any advice. I usually sell my equipment to friends or local sales. I am selling 2 lenses and want to use the forum. I want to use my Paypal account for payment. Does the buyer just need to know my Paypal ID? 3% is the fee added by Paypal? Thanks again.

If you want 3% added to the top of the amount of someone pays using paypal, then just state that's what you want.

It probably won't look too good if you sting your buyers with extras that they're not explicitly told in the advert.

They need the email address on your paypal amount and then the total they'll want to send you (which you agree on)

Just to make sure on the 3% (or whatever it is these days). Paypal is going to take it from you. If someone sends you $100, you'll net $97. So you want to make sure you work out with the seller how much you want them to send you to avoid any confusion on either end.
