Shot with a 50D and 85mm f1.2L. Lights are continuous fluorescent Westcott softboxes. This is my second portrait with the new lighting system.

Nice shot. Looks a bit underexposed on my monitor, but a nice capture nonetheless.

As a fellow banjo picker, I would like to see the head of the banjo as well.

is that a Gibson?

Good point on the headstock.

It does look a little under exposed. Good composition.

Thanks. :) it's actually a self portrait. It's not easy try to light and compose a photo when you're the subject! I learned a lot, though. It could be better and it's a bit on the underexposed side. The hair light is a scalp light in this case!
