I got invited to a Golf Day recently and thought I'd take to opportunity to bring along my 7D and 70-200 2.8 for a few shots. here is just some I managed to get.

As always C&C welcome.

I've never golfed but it's interesting to see the different follow-throughs.

Not bad mate! I reckon the boys would love seeing these! Is that at Illawarra? #8 is the best for me.

I think it'd make the shots more interesting to see the movement (try using a slower shutter speed) of the game rather than guys holding their sticks in the air

You should see my group sometime. You might get 4 or 5 different follow throughs from each player :)

I like 5 and 8 out of those. I agree with trying to get some club blurr in there sometimes...but seeing the ball in mid-air is always cool!

Maybe try and get a bit of the background more. It may just be me but the cropping is really tight on the first few images. Part of the beauty of golf is the surroundings, so I always try and incorporate a little. Other than that good captures, I love they guy's face in picture 6!
