Hi, I have taken some photos for people and Im giving them a disk with them on there.

I want to know if there is a program the can "batch resize" them as I want to have them ready to print like 6x4" and 8x10".

I have had full size images printed before and they have croped tops of heads or feet ect, so I want to make sure this doesnt have for them as some shot have been framed tight.

I have tried on photoshop cs3 but if I type in 8" it automaticly puts 12" in the othe box then the pic gets cropped.
Am I doing something wrong????

Names of programs would be goo.

Please help!!!

EOS cameras have a 2:3 aspect ratio. That's why SOOC images are 4x6. Any multiple of 2:3 won't need any cropping (4x6, 8x12). If you're looking for anything other, you'll need to crop.

In order to get an image other than 2:3 ratio, you'll have to crop in PS.

The red areas is what will be cropped. You can adjust the area by left clicking on the image and moving the crop box around. NOTE: Your crop area may be dark gray. I changed mine to red for emphasis.

I hope this is what you were looking for and hope it helps. I always crop my own images so that the lab doesn't do the thinking for me. If I send them an 8x10 to print, there's no cropping on their end. I am in control what gets cut off and what doesn't.
