First Time shooting Motorsports

The lads at Trackaction (external link) held a track day at Oulton Park last month and I finally managed to work through the photos I took.

I'd appreciate any comments on them, I'm aware the Red MGs feature quite prominently, but that's the forum that I went with.

I like the first one in your flickr albun showing the track layout. Most of the photos could probably benefit from a slower shutter speed and panning with the action. You need to blur the wheels and background more to show the speed.

Hi Colin.
A fast tip for the first image of the Peugeot: Try to frame you car pictures so that you leave some space in front of the car instead of behind it. Then the viewer often gets the feeling that the car i moving into the picture instead of out of the picture. That makes the image more dynamic and exciting. :)
