Hippo Fight

Hippos fighting in the Mara river in northern Tanzania. One shot out of about 300. Crappy thing is after my battery died, the winning hippo was bitten by a 3 meter Crocodile which was then torn in half by the hippo. I've since acquired a second battery which is always fully charged sitting in my bag.

Sorry for the low res. I've already had this taken from facebook. An enterprising "friend" found he could make a buck with a 200kb copy.

Couple more in the Serengeti area. Zebra photo taken further west along the Mara river 1 month after the Hippo photos were taken.

Wow, those are pretty intense! Not sure what size zebra that is, but the croc looks enormous compared to it!
