I'm switching computers, finally upgraded! I know Adobe allows license holders to download and run LR on two different computers. Now that I'm actually disposing of my old computer is it possible to deactivate the license on my old machine?

You don't need to deactivate Lightroom; it has a different licensing scheme from Photoshop....just install it on the new computer and enter your key when prompted.
