Some of you may remember that I had a ’69 383 Formula “S” back in the day. (Red, too!) Well, Fay Wray, hold onto your undies if you get a ride in this one!
The weather was threatening rain (again), but Tom Middleton & his friend John still showed up in a ’69 Cuda with ’68 trim. I asked for details & was invited to join them in the air conditioned bar. ;)

It’s a ’68 Super Stock clone with 528 cid & aluminum heads @ 12-1/2 to 1 compression. Custom Weiland intake; Crane cam .650 lift @ 284 duration; 5500 rpm J Stahl torque converter; 5.13 Dana rear end; 1050 Dominator carbs; 200hp NOS fogger nitrous system; Fiberglass front end; 4-wheel disc brakes.
W/out nitro: 9.5 sec @ 850 bhp.
With: 8.5 sec @ 1050 bhp

Bruce, it's yours for only $70,000!
:D:D

Wheelie bars? What a wimp! J/k of course, it's an awesome car and you got some nice shots of it. 8) All old Hemis should have either dual carbs or mechanical fuel injection. :D

Awesome ride! Just the thing a guy needs to run to the store for a six pack of milk.

Frank, I hope you dont mind, but since we're on a "Hemi" frenzy here, I thought maybe I'd add an injected Hemi to this mix. Anyone remember "Hillborn"? ;)
