Examples of a sigma 30mm f/1.4 on an APS-H body?

Does anyone have any examples of this lens on an APS-H body? I've read the vignetting isn't too bad wide open, but obviously gets progressively worse as the lens is stopped down. I found some sample photos of it on a full frame... but have yet to find any on an APS-H. I'd love to get one of these for my 1DII :D

Thanks guys!

Sorry, I only have APS-C samples. But have you considered the 28mm f1.8 USM ?

The 28 f/1.8 was the first lens I looked at. Kinda disappointed by the softness wide open mixed with the noticeable CA and although I didn't experience it myself when I used it (briefly) I've read it is very prone to flare. Samples of the sigma 30 wide-open on an APS-C body look pretty darn good. I tend to shoot at wider apertures more often than not, so I'd really love to see what kind of results the sigma would give me (in terms of vignetting) wide open through about f/5.6

I have a couple, but they're not really good pictures.

They could be pictures of a blank wall really, I'd just like to see how bad the vignetting is. You can PM them to me if you don't want to post them. I'd appreciate it!

I attached it to my original post. Bumped up exposure a stop since I had EC -1 for whatever reason, but nothing else done.

Thanks, wow f/1.4 doesn't look too bad at all. Have any more that are a little more stopped down?

It's a link to the search results from the sigma thread in the lens archive. Search the thread for 1D and you'll get a few photos taken with the combination.

Ah what an idea. Muchos gracias amigo! Still, I'd love to see some controlled shots at f/1.4, f/2.8, f/5.6, f/8 as a guideline.

Well if you don't find any, I'll take some tonight and post them in here.

But basically the breakdown is: f/1.4 through f/4 is useable. f/4 and slower; you start to see pure black corners.

Here's a post with a 1.3x crop factor. I shot this with my 5Dii and cropped down to various sizes (also see the post above it). I think the Sigma 30mm makes a pretty nice lens for a 1.3x camera.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I guess you could crop a 1.5x image out of it still, so it is not useless.

Definitely not useless. You just have to keep the cropping in mind.

BTW I tried using the lens hood on the sigma 30/1D combo yesterday and it looks like it will cause vignette even at f/1.4. If anyone is interested.
