Ok here are my purely unscientific examples. Low res but I tried to get the four different corners to be at different exposure levels to give you a "real world" example.

In shady locations, you will see vignette even at f/1.4 as you can see in three of the corners. Look at the upper left corner in all pics to get an idea of what a sky vignette would look like.

f/1.4

....and it just gets worse from there on..

I hope this helps even a little.

Even though I cropped these to 8x10, at wider apertures vignetting on corners is not bad. Actually I like it. I have seen that most wide aperture primes costing lot more also vignette on FF.

He moved here so focus is bit off.

In last two I added some vignetting in post.

Here are full frame test shots. The AF is off on these, these were done mainly to show vignetting on 1mdk2.

This is great! Seems like the Sigma 30mm is very usable on APS-H sensors. Maybe I won't have to sell the lens when I eventually upgrade! xD

I just stumbeled across this thread. I know its old.

But damn, this is REALLY making me consider the sigma over the canon 28 F1.8.

Maybe it will be ok if i have one lens I cant use for film....
