I cleaned them up a bit...lots of handrailings, etc., magically disappeared in CS3.

Thanks. It's all about a tripod and a remote shutter release! Leave the family at home; they'll quickly get bored.

Yeah, and no timelimits. When I visited I only had a coupe of hours and it passed sooooo.... quickly.

NIce shots how about some more? What is that big plane with the number 33 on the tail. I GOTTA get out there. I love aviation..... maybe someday.

Alright, you've done it. After seeing the B-1 Bomber I'm going to have to go to my local air museum and shoot it up. They also have a B-1, as well as a B-52 out front of the building and a really nice F-86 Sabre.

I can only hope to do half as well as you have done with your's!
What lens did you use on most of those?

Don't they have nearly one of everything on the USAF Academy grounds as well?

They have a lot of different aircraft all over the place at the AFA. A P-40 mounted near one entrance. A F-4 Phantom in another spot along side the road, as well as a mounted B-52! I haven't been down there to tour around in a while. Last time I was down at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs I got to walk around their collection of war birds. There's some fun stuff in that group. Peterson isn't your typicle AFB, not much of a runway and only a few air craft. It's the words on the signs that tell you what they do there. "Welcome to Peterson AFB, Home of US Space Comand."
They fly satellites! That museum of old satellites sucks.

I'm for sure now going to go to the Wings Over the Rockies air museum this weekend. It's in the old hangers of the former Lowry AFB. Pretty cool and close by.
