Nothing flash, just my very ordinary Honda Prelude sitting only about 10meters off the road on a very pretty bit of the local coastline.

I added the plant for interest :)
Its a Native Toi Toi, (pronounced Toy toy), and provides some vertical contrast to the very horizontal (and plain) car.

I notice that a lot of car shots rely more on the subject than the photo for impact.
People repsond to the car, rather than the car as a subject of the photograph.

So, I was trying to get good photos of a very ordinary car in the hope of improving my over all skill :)

Nice simple car Moppie. :)

Were the shots taken 2 years ago as named?

PS. I was so sure I posted to this last night. Must've fallen asleep, or posted in the wrong topic. :p

Excellent -- I drove a Nissan Sunny to what resembles this location on my holiday in New Zealand. Is this the pacific coast highway on the North Island?

I can't even imagine how you found this thread :lol:

But, yes, it is on the Pacific Coast highway.
This particular spot is just South of KawaKawa bay.

I am looking for tips on shooting my buddies Honda Prelude next week (any good locations, I'm open to suggestions).

here's a photo I took of the occasion, very special to me as the endless ocean background and absence of anyone around exudes "exploration".. comments?

Cool, looks like the same place too, with the Coromandal in the back ground.
I trust you enjoyed your holiday here.

Sorry Ross you shot as nice as it is is a little too large so I reduced it to a link. You are welcome to resize and repost if you like.
