A while ago on here I posted a thread about a blind photographer, which as a subject for discussion turned out to be less than popular.

In the case of this photographer I'm not sure what 'legally blind' constitutes, but I'm sure it amounts to better eyesight than I imagine when I hear that someone is blind.

That was my thought too, Mike. I can't imagine a totally blind person being a photographer, but it was always my impression that "legally blind" might entail something less than totality.

I know 2 legally people that I talk to about twice a week when we see each other at sports games and when riding bikes.
they can see just not good enough to get a drivers or regular job.

I do however have a good friend that is 100% blind and he fixes cars as a full time job and is also way too much fun at strip clubs as he always gets to feel his way around and the girls are fine with it, his girlfriend has a problem however!!

my gear Canon 7D, Canon 5DMK2, 70-200 f2.8 IS, 50mm f1.8, canon 430 speedlight, canon 17-55 2.8 IS, canon 100mm macro sigma 10-20, Canon 17-85 , 60 cokin filters , 2x telecoverter.

I have seen some amazing paintings, sculptures, and photographs others from who are pretty close to 100% blind. Their memory is also much much greater than the average person. It is amazing what happens when you must rely on your other senses to make up for the lack of another. My hearing in my right ear has become better to counter being blind in my right eye.

Canon 6D Mk I
24-70mm F/4L , 70-200mm F/4L , 50mm 1.8 I , Rokinon 14mm F/2.8 & 35mm F/1.4

The saying "Even a broken clock is right twice a day" comes to mind here... lol
