Mine will be to get a dedicated e-commerce site up and running to be ready for spring sports.

And just below that on the list, will be to complete my lighting setup, and add backgrounds to the group.

What do you plan on accomplishing to better your business?

Be as rich and cool as Tim

  • In honesty..I will be seperating my fine art side photography from my professional services,

  • I will be in a new city so I will be marketing a bit differently, I will have finished my diploma in business so hopefully that will have taught me a few new tricks.

  • My websites need an overhaul. I plan to specialize.

  • I am doing up my marketing plan for 2010; planning it by 3 months at a time. I hope that having a plan for every 3 months helps me focus and budget my time a lot better, keep consistent and focus on those 3 things. Originally I had a year plan but I found in this business things change far too quickly, and when you are new in it even more quickly. From what I read from other people who are more experienced than me on here..I learn a lot.

  • I hope to develop stronger and more consistent relationships with people in my network.

Very true about business planning. I plan by the quarter not the year.

I just did a YTD Previous Year Comparison in Quickbooks and found Im on the right track in gaining Net Profit. Looking into it further, I have found that I had "less work" but larger paying jobs. In turn truly meaning that same amount of work.

I also plan on developing major communications upgrade in myself, that is a downfall I have that needs to be worked on. And only I can change that!

To keep courting and landing another big client that I've already been pursuing and is looking more promising than it was 6 months ago.

To establish myself to make a significant amount of money to save up to move to California and attend business school in the few years; plus, to do things well enough "by the book" to help me to gain admissions to a Univ. of Cal. business school.

Thank you! It's years down the road, but after graduating in June without a plan of what I'm going to do, it's something to work for. As much as I do like Central Ohio, the weather is bad, along with the economy entrepreneurs.

Become much more organized.
Get my financials in the black instead of the red. Actually, i didn't expect to make a true profit this year, but hoping to get things geared more towards a real business.
improve my skills
Just finished my business degree, want to put it to real use.
Put the finishing touches on my contracts and lock these clients that I already have into some long term business relationships.

I want to be the mark adamus (external link) of the north, in terms of marketing, print sales and quality.

As far as fine art goes..In the next 3 months I will be doing exhibitions and galleries around the western end of the country, in Whitehorse, Yellowknife and potentially Vancouver (if not, then Vancouver Island).

I want to move to Full time status. Ditch the corporate job that is getting me nowhere. Hope to make the jump late August early September. This also involves an out of state move. So lots to do.
