Does Adorama suck or did I just draw a bad hand?

Where I was wrong was not giving them the opportunity to do so. I really regret taking this to such a public place, and especially one that is frequented by potential customers. I was wrong and I am man enough to admit that.

This shows a lot of character and I admire that. Nicely done.

...they are so much more personable than at b&h

I appreciate your feedback and regret we disappointed you. Constructive feedback, whether about an individual or a process, helps us fine-tune our performance and do better today than yesterday and better tomorrow than today.

I just ordered a 50mm lens from Adorama..... did upgraded shipping to 2-4 day. Lens shipped yesterday after I ordered it Monday night. Shows it being on the truck and out for delivery TODAY!!! That to me is impressive! I m only in CT tho lol

I want to give B&H a try as well I just find Adorama easier to navigate because it was the first one I went to for whatever reason haha

I have shopped many times at both Adorama and B&H. They are both very reputable companies and when I had a question for either, they were always responsive.
It's nice to see that B&H is now here at POTN

Now, if the would only start a Bing Cash Back amount war.;)

No need to upgrade with Adorama if you're in CT. I always go with regular shipping and depending on the time I place an order, I can have the item the following day. ( My UPS depot is in Watertown)

I, too, have shopped at both stores in person and ordered on line. They have never disappointed me and I will continue to shop with them. I do a lot of shopping with Amazon as well due to free shipping. If it is a choice between all three of the above, I choose whichever is least expensive and has the least shipping charges.

I'm very happy with Adorama service. They always deliver nicely on time and in top shape, even across the Atlantic.

It seems as if both of them are offering free shipping on many more things. The only time I was able to get to the B&H store, I felt like a kid in a toy store!

Ya I will keep that in mind. I just really wanted to make sure my lens was here this year haha well before today, and sure enough it was! Upgraded shipping was like $3.25 so it wasn't a huge deal

Thank you. FWIW, I joined this forum during June 2004.
