I did a mini-shoot with my son and one of his favorite toys today, kind of on a whim. They turned out pretty neat, I thought. As always, this is with all natural light.

Frosty had no one to be his friend:

So Asher came over and said, "We can watch the world together"...

Not sure why I went with B&W on the last one versus desaturated on the others. Another whim, I guess. ;)

Love em. I think the negative space in #2 should be cropped out as well as in the last one too. I think in the last shot it would benefit from cropping from the window frame to a close crop on the doll and the boy. If you know what I mean. Same with shot 2.

I see what you mean. I agree on the 2nd one, though I think I like the open space on the third one as it kind of leaves room for "more friends".

Actually i like all the negative space in the 2nd one. It puts perspective on how big the world is and how small Asher and Frosty are. Just my opinion!
