Wrestling Photo's I Did

These are my first photo's of kids but they are alright there is alot better pictures but i just put these up here just to get some better pointers.. I Could use some help with the setting's, Also this was shot with my Canon EOS T1i Kit.. for pointers id suggest the camera it is awsome!!

Is that the remnants of his Marlborough on his shoulder or dandruff? That's a gross shot either way.

The kids are cute though, and the T1i looks pretty clean at iso 1600.

Need to do some cropping. Also need faster shutter speed as there is motion blur in extremities.
Color/WB looks good.:)

Thanks!. im just now starting to get into and i got offerd to be the schools photographer for little wrestling matchs but.. how do i adjust my shutter speed?...

You should really invest some time reading manual that came with the camera. It has all the basic information you need. There's nothing wrong with asking questions, but you've also got to put some of the work in yourself.

Shoot low and crop tighter. White balance seems to be off in some of them. Get their faces in the shot as well.

Shoot lower! When I shoot wrestling I am sitting on the floor right next to the mat.
Shoot Tight! You can shot a lot tighter to get the look of struggle in the face. It is ok to cut into body areas also dont be afraid to go in tighter with eather zoom or post crop.
