I took this on a walk round the deer park at Studley Royal.
I know the photo has little technical or artistic merit, basically a grab shot walking around, but I was interested in the way in which the antlers had grown,I had never seen anything like this sort of distorted growth before so I thought I would share it

His antlers do appear significantly malformed, plus they are quite large which certainly makes the bull an interesting speciman.

Roosevelt elk in the Pacific NW of USA tend to have similar characteristics whenever their antlers are "non-typical" or abnormal. Some people use the term "crown" or "crowned" when referring to such antlers.

Injuries, seen or unseen from fighting, predators, and other random acts, can cause antlers to do that. It could be the genetics of the elk as well.

Interesting rack. Since it has drop tines on both sides I'd rule out injury. Probably genetic or hormone inbalance. Great capture!
