I am just about ready to purchase some Alien Bee gear. My question is, would this power inverter work with the Alien Bee 800 if I had it plugged into the car cigarette lighter?

Thanks in Advance!

Nope, at least the google search I did found that the targa inverters listed use a modified sine wave inversion. Alien bees need a "pure sine wave" inversion. That type of inverter costs enough that you might as well look at getting a vagabond battery system instead.

Needs to be Pure Sine Wave

I use this one, but other inverter can be used.
