Reason: i want to buy the 1Dmk2

I take care of my XSi and all of my electronics like they are babies. The only noticeable problem is on close inspection of the mode selector wheel, the black paint is coming off. Its got 8700+ clicks, and works very good for an XSi, I would just rather have more FPS, bigger body, more options, and better IQ than is present on the 450D. So I'm wondering the max price I could sell just the body for, and i have a lot to spend for the difference if i cant get much.

I have the strap, battery+charger, lens hole cap, and software that came. The only thing I am iffy to part with is the SD card (8gb) and card reader.

probably not much if you sell it privately.

for the heck of it, I priced my XSi for trade in at Best Buy trading in, they said it was worth $500 if getting Best Buy store credit. They just base it on megapixels so a 40D is worth less than a XSi using their system.

is usually do market reasearch of completed listings on ebay. you should be able to gauge it pretty well there.
