Dec 15, 2009 13:13 | #4 Thank you for your c&c. This is only my second time to be able to work with a baby less than a week old. I wish i would have more newborns in my studio...but people here tend to wait til their over a month old before they get their pics done. I wish #1 would have showed a lot more, but it was an accidental shot. I had her set up and her mom yelled "she is smiling" and i just pulled up my camera and shot real quick. It was a quick reaction, since they do not smile for long at a time lol. I should have posted the original version of #3, and #4 was her idea with the rings. Although....i did a horrible job with the black backdrop lol. Thank you for taking the time to comment, and i enjoy looking at your work. swimchic wrote in post #9201538 ![]() I really love #2, and #4 would be my second choice. Great job on these! For number 1 I would have preferred a different crop, probably to see the whole hat, and less blanket below her, but it is very cute! I am just not feeling number 3 at all. I think it's a combo of the pp edge burn, and that blanket. I dunno, no offense at all, but that specific blanket makes me think walk in studio, like sears or target. I think they just use it all the time or something. Just not loving it. For the last one, on black, I have just seen that done too many times I guess. When you are working on black you have to be very careful of where the blanket falls, and were it is cutting into the baby. It makes the baby look cut into. And I think that photo is just too busy, too much going on in the bg to focus on the feet. Overall you've done great! Just keep at it, and I hope all that helps ![]() *Christy* "If at first you dont succeed...destroy all evidence that you tried." www.christyfullerphotography.info
