Okay maybe this wont make sense to everyone, but I am curious should I spend the extra money and pick up the soft boxes for my flashes or I can just get away with using my two Gary Fongs Lightsphere Clouds?
Any advice is welcome

Fongs are small, and not particularly efficient. For ocf anything bigger and more directional will be better. I dont know what sort of softbox you are considering but nearly anything is going to be better than the Fongs.
