Great shot, abandoned store front with that guy off to the side with his head down really makes a statement.

Thanks. I think its the strongest image I've made in a long time. I mean he disappears into the environment much the way the very poor do. I saw this image and it makes me think of how truly fortunate I am. It was a drive by and I was stuck at the red light. I rolled the widow down framed it quickly and shot. I couldn't believe how much it said and the fact I was able to see it in an instant. The meaning that the homeless and poor have become faceless and disappear into the urban landscape. Our eyes become so desensitized of the suffering of others right under our own noses. Oh well off the soap box but that is what I saw and thought at the moment I saw this.

How many shots in a session do you take, aifrog? Love the one w/ the chick smoking. Really good. I assume you guys get awesome shadows in the Chicago winter.

Per sessions depends. For my personal work it depends on light and if I'm seeing. I go out sometimes and don't shoot anything. Professional work? I'm not a heavy shooter. A big job to me is 750-1000 images. I shoot advertising/commercial work. Specializing in healthcare. Per year between my personal work and my professional work probably 100K.

I've been doing a lot of personal work lately because of the new MM. Just trying to get to a point where I'm using the DoF scales well and hitting my crops where I want them. With a range finder it takes some practice.
