Charming photos, nicksan. I assume these are all in NY? That place has a lot of photographic history I recall. It's on my bucket list but, unfortunately, I'm using the contents of the bucket to clean my kitchen floor at the moment.
I'm not bone for landscapes and big monuments. The 'man' hole is more along my lines.

I had a sense of something about to happen. It was just too quiet.

I could hear the roar in the distance. Like someone's stomach rumbling.

Thanks! The far end is actually not blown out at all on the scan and original negative (BW film dynamic range is ridiculous), but I blew it out on purpose in post-processing because it looks better without distracting highlight detail there.
