I live about 40 miles south of Fresno... in Visalia. It's about 30-40 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia Nt'l Park.

(Graham street is about a half mile east of Bolsa Chica. There used to be a golf course there called Meadowlark but I think it is gone now.)

Cool.... here is a fun story. When I was in Jr. High (Marina), there was a celebrity golf tournament at Meadowlark so I rode my bike over. The whole cast of Gilligan's Island was playing that day. I had a Kodak Instamatic camera and I took all their pictures and got autographs from them. I was soooo excited. Still have them all, packed out in storage somewhere.

Went back the next day and Jack LaLanne was playing with Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Jack Klugman and Jack Lemon. It was a big day for the "Jack" crowd...... and for me!!

late to the game here... I like them both - they very different moods to them. The B&W is very dramatic - the color is very warm - her face is radiant and wonderful eyes.

That's just crazy! I never knew that about Medowlark! I have a couple of golfer buddies who will be very excited about that story! You now know that you HAVE to dig out those old pictures and scan them in right?? ;)

[marie]
Thanks for the comments Marie! I had another shot from that moment but the girl (My sister, and the boy is our nephew from another sister) was looking away and I didn't have any fill flash.

[Croasdail]
Thanks for the comments as well! Your right on about the "eyes". She's the one that lucked out with those! My other sister and myself have the plain old 'brown'......oh, I mean "chocolate" eyes! ;)

I subscribe to the Mark Twain theory of golf - A good walk ruined.

The photos are great. The expression, the eyes, everything. I like the B&W too. Just checked again and I really like the B&W.

Thanks a lot everyone!
I'm really taken back that everyone likes BOTH! Usually one version stands out more than the other in the eyes of different people here, so this is cool!
