Mounting Multiple Speedlights on a Stand

To make it potentially more difficult I have the speedlights mounted on Radiopopper PX stands which are directly threaded into. What are some solutions out there for attaching two (preferably three) of these speedlight/Radiopopper PX setups on a single light stand?

Problem there would be the hotshoes as I need to screw the flash/PX setup directly into threads. Is there some sort of hotshoe to thread converter out there?

The 2 cold shoes at the ends unscrew and there is the 1/4 screw - I use these brackets with the PW's flexs - I connect the flexes directly with the 1/4 screws.

doesn't sound hard to make,piece of aluminum flat bar couple of holes couple of bolts
your good with a camera i'm sure you could wing it

How much flexibility in speedlight positioning do you require? Are they all going to be aimed in the same direction from the same height? On the rare occasions when I need to mount multiple speedlites to a single stand, I use Manfrotto 175 spring clamps (http://www.bhphotovide​o.com …75_175_Spring_C​lamp_.html) on the lightstand riser. A standard stud with a 1/4-20 male end inserted into the clamp's 5/8" socket provides the necessary screw on connection point. The more elegant and extravagant solution is the 175F "Justin" clamp with its standard ballhead.

That's a nice feature but the OP didn't say he was using an umbrella.

I just use a super clamp for the other one and clamp it to the center column

Thanks for all of the responses guys! I probably should've mentioned that I do use modifiers for the most part but occasionally do shoot bare bulb in which case I'd like the lights on the same stick to be as close together as possible (I have other sticks if I need to position them far apart) as I'm mainly looking for some more power to be able to overpower brighter light sources.

Palladium would I be able to mount 3 flashes on the Morris bracket? Not too sure whether the third would fit in the modeling light location.

I have this kit, got it on sale from Photoflex for $59.99 came with a Swivel umbrella bracket too. Not bad for mounting three flashes.

Sure if you look carefully at the image you'll notice that there is a 3 slots. At each end and another off to the side of the center.

You could put any number of 1/4 screws through these slots to mount additional cold shoes or flash triggers.

Also the 2 thumb screw at the end of the bracket slide and rotate within their slots.

Originally I was using these brackets with flashes in the cold shoe and a PW Plus II mounted to the screw to the side of the center column. I used a mono y splitter from the PW to the flashes.

Now I remove the cold shoe and just mount the flashes to the new PW Flex and use the thumb screw.

Two Canon 550EX's attached to a 10 inch mending plate I got from Home Depot. Attached with 2 Smith Victor cold shoe adapters, 2 Female Hotshoe to Inexpensive Radio Slave Adapter Cables from Flash Zebra, Y splitter cable from radio shack and fired with cybersync
