Tried out the 24-70 and the 70-200L IS this morning. I hope you all are not growing to bored of these shots. The 70-200L is a little soft wide open...need to make an adjustment. Shooting with the 5D2... and all I can say... is what a fantastic camera so far... really enjoying it. The 24-70 hits the mark...wide open or stopped down... very pleased with how it performed.

Thank you very much :)

All natural light... no reflectors or anything. The civilian shots were in a different location than the Military shots... but.. similar lighting. The mil shots... they were taken in the shade at the opening of an 8000 sq ft building they are putting up... lots of reflected light bouncing off the concrete and walls.

The Civilian shots... they are under an overhang... in the shade with light bouncing off the concrete as well.

All the images I dodged out the backgrounds. The military shots were easy as the walls in the structure are white. The civilians I had to extract from the backgrounds... lots of junk in the scene.

Hope this helps. :)
Thanks again,
Hatch
