These were taken during my last trip to NYC. I took a couple of night shots just using the available light down Broadway and one day time shot while on top of the bus. Looking for some cc on composition and quality of the pictures. Thanks for your feedback...

1. Majestic Theater (almost HDRish) Did some pp adjusting clarity, contrast, brightness and blacks.

If it werent for all the signs, the picture of the Majestic sign would be really nice. Id also like to see what it might look like in B&W. Maybe a different crop? Nice capture, nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.

The first shot is the only one of this series that really grabs me. There is so much exquisite detail and tonality between the deep shadows and the bright highlights.

It violates a lot of my personal guidelines for architectural shots, such as verticals being vertical and buildings needing a base to rest on, etc.

Nonetheless, it keeps my eye interested and moving - everywhere you look, there is something of interest.

Very good!

Thanks guys... Something you quickly find out in NYC is that have lots of signs. :) The Majestic is has so much character, I didn't notice it until I was across the street.

I like the first and last shots. As said before the signs kind of mess with the first one, maybe its croppable or clonable? As far as the last goes i guess I like the action, I'm not sure what it is about the pic but it appeals to my eye.

Just curious, were the signs taken handheld? I am at work so don't have an EXIF reader at this computer.
