50D shutter activations

I'm looking for a used 50D and I see some going at good prices but with around 10,000 shutter activations.

I haven't been able to find how many shutter activation the 50D is good for. So what would be a reasonable number and what is the max?

I think Canon says it's good for 100000.

30D 40D and 50D shutters are tested upto 100k clicks.

Thanks for the click info.

I can get a used 50D for around $800 and that seems like the best buy in a Canon at teh moment. I know I can get the T1i for that but I think the 50D is the better choice.

It may fail on the next shot or it might go to 200,000 actuations. No one can tell you for sure. 100,000 is the MTBF.
