Seems to be a broken link. How about here (external link).

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Seemes like a pretty poor review even though it got a highly reccomended (just).. I have both the G10 and the G11 and I think the G11's IQ is better. Almost all other real in depth reviews raved about the G11's increase in DR but DP review didn't. Strange review:cry:

Sorry about the broken link.
DPR is kinda odd with it's reviews at times.

My fav place is Steve's Digicams I've been going there for years.

Maybe the review they put out the other day is more to your liking?

For Mac users, Camera Raw support was just added for the G11. Download from Apple (Aperture, iPhoto 09 and 08, and system apps).

I think it's funny that they compare it to a camera that costs twice as much and is only comparable in size if you put on a very limiting prime lens lol. Otherwise it's many times thicker and not even comparable in size.

The signal to noise ratio thing tells it all though. The G10 *does* capture more detail at base ISO though, so if you do all your shooting at base iso the G10 may be better for you. However the G11's files in normal use are better, and the G11's files at low iso look more like files from an SLR than from a point and shoot. Also the high iso really is far far better. The G11's dynamic range is also exceptional--not that far off from an aps-c slr!

I never shot a G10 but after reading many reviews...one thing is consistant...the G11 stands out by a notable margin over the G10 at high ISO. The G10 may produce more detail at lower ISO but it's not near the same gap when comparing high ISO.

FWIW, the g10 received very good reviews at Luminous Landscape.

He wrote about the g11 too; I thought the level of acceptance wasn't as high as the g10--but that's for landscape work as Michael does it.

The g11 is a welcome addition for me. The screen alone makes a big difference. The better high ISO performance is a welcome addition too. I had a g9 however.

I have both G10 and G11 and I like the G11 image files more. Shoot Low ISO and RAW only. Mike's onto bigger and better things now with the Leica M9:D

Got one as well and Im more than pleased.. I was leaning towards the s90 but the G11 has a remote cable release, hot shoe, better iso and a faster shutter.. plus the swing out monitor helps as well
